Local family entertainment center to bring great food and fun to San Antonio families

San Antonio’s Incredible Pizza Company opening soon

[SAN ANTONIO] – January 16, 2007 – A new, all-indoor, smoke-free family entertainment center opens Thursday, January 25, offering San Antonio families a “one-stop fun shop” of delicious, freshly-made food, hundreds of games and attractions, and seating for more than 600 people.

America’s Incredible Pizza Company’s 65,000-square-foot facility features a full pizza, pasta, salad and dessert bar, four themed dining rooms, a Piñata Room, a go-kart track, Route 66 mini golf, mini bowling, bumper cars, go-karts, a huge prize area, and 100 video and redemption games.

The huge location features a 1950s theme, with old-time rock-n’-roll on the jukebox, colorful 50s-style décor, even a shiny, like-new 1957 Chevy in the lobby. Kids will love the exciting atmosphere, while their parents and grandparents can enjoy the nostalgia of a more innocent time.

The hallmark of America’s Incredible Pizza Company, and the cornerstone of its success, is its food. The delicious, enormous, affordable buffet includes all kinds of pizza, pastas, salads, desserts, and soft drinks. San Antonio families will love being able to sit down to eat together, then continue their family time at the Fairgrounds, a full scale entertainment center with an unbeatable variety of fun things to do.

Kids of all ages will enjoy the Route 66 Mini Golf course, mini bumper cars, go-kart racing track, and Highway 66 Mini Bowling alley. The video games are all family-friendly, and players can redeem their winnings for a wide range of prizes.

The newest feature of America’s Incredible Pizza Company is the XD Theatre – a fully-equipped 8-seat digital theatre where families can feel the excitement of virtual roller coaster rides, auto races, and other videos that put them in the driver’s seat. Wind effects, motion and 3-D glasses combine for an over-the-top experience.

Birthday parties at America’s Incredible Pizza Company make a child’s special day even better, with no muss or fuss for moms. Birthday parties include a private party room, a party entertainer to lead the party in games and activities, and a full buffet and game play for each participant. The Piñata Room adds extra fun to any party by offering this great tradition from Mexico to guests.

San Antonio will be the fifth Texas location for American’s Incredible Pizza Company. The first Central Texas location opened in Conroe in August 2006. Other Texas locations are in Houston and Victoria.

The San Antonio location is co-owned by local businesswoman Dina Cruz. Ms. Cruz, a native of Laredo, came to San Antonio in 1991 and has since proven herself a vital force in the San Antonio business scene. While she already owns three El Taco Tote restaurants in San Antonio, she was inspired to invest in America’s Incredible Pizza Company when she spent a day at a Houston location with her 7-year-old daughter, Catherine.
